Rodney Taylor is a true force of nature around the paddock and a phenomenal dad who supports his son, Ethan, in every way possible—always with passion, commitment, and plenty of fun along the way. Rodney’s karting roots go right back to his own youth, racing at Larkhall alongside future stars such as David Coulthard, giving him a lifelong love for motorsport.

 

Today, Rodney is reliving those karting days through Ethan, fully embracing the journey and the memories they are building together. Known for his relentless work ethic, Rod doesn’t hang around—he’ll put in the laps, the preparation, and whatever else is needed to be the best he can be, both for himself and in support of Ethan’s development.

 

Rodney is looking forward to competing in the UKKC series while proudly supporting Ethan’s progression in the FAT Karting Series, with the ultimate goal of helping Ethan reach America and take the next step in his racing career. Above all, Rodney is a joy to have around the club—positive, driven, and fully invested in the sport and its community.
