New Kart Simulator Programme Launching at Scottish Karting Academy
Building skills, confidence and community — from simulator to track
The Scottish Karting Academy is launching a new Kart Simulator Programme, designed to make motorsport more accessible to families, young people, seniors and individuals requiring additional support.
Using professional simulator rigs covering 95% of UK kart tracks and a wide range of European circuits, participants can experience realistic karting environments while developing race craft, confidence and transferable life skills in a safe, supportive setting.
Sessions will be delivered through a flexible model, including:
- 1-to-1 supported sessions
- Small group learning
- Family and mixed-age participation
The programme supports those new to motorsport as well as current drivers looking to sharpen skills away from the track. It also provides a valuable pathway for individuals who may face barriers to traditional participation or social isolation.
Beyond driving skills, the simulator programme focuses on confidence, focus, decision-making, inclusion, accessibility, wellbeing, family engagement and community connection.
The Academy is currently gathering expressions of interest to shape session times, age groups and support levels ahead of the full launch.
Interested families, individuals and partners are encouraged to get in touch via the Academy’s contact page or social media channels.
