Oliver Bio

My name is Oliver Dormer and I am a 15-year-old racing driver from Fife, Scotland. I began go-karting at age three and started racing competitively when I was eight years old.

I started with small electric go-karts around age three, and then moved into into cadet rental karts at age eight and racing them “properly” From there, I transitioned to “pro rental carts” at 12 years old, where I became “pretty competitive”.

I took a break from racing when I was 14, which lasted through 2025. I have since picked up a place for 2026 with the Scottish Kart Academy (SK), which was formerly known as Five Kart Club.

I recently had “seat time at Crail”, which is a track in Fife. Next year, I will be competing in the British Pro Cart Championship. I view the team aspect as more of a family and being a part of a team involves more than just driving, such as fixing the kart and team-building days. Racing with the team is also more cost-effective than racing privately like I had done before.
